Episode Number: 219
Synopsis: "Archer stands trial before the Klingon Tribunal who have charged him with firing on a Klingon warship and providing aid to refugees on the run from the Klingon empire for which the punishment is death. When the prosecution paints a skewed and violent picture of the events in question, Archer challenges his appointed Klingon legal counsel to buck their cruel justice system and let him present his side of the story in the hopes that he will prevail. In the process, Archer learns that Klingons haven't always been a warrior society and that there are Klingons who want to lead a more peaceful existence."

  • Archer is called to testify at a Klingon inquest after rescuing a group of Arin'sen, who are trying to escape from the Klingons' control. (January 11, 2003 - TrekToday)

  • Klingon Tribunal Chamber set constructed to resemble that in which Kirk and McCoy were tried in 'Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.' (January 30, 2003 - TrekToday)

  • In a nod to Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Archer is sentenced to life imprisonment on Rura Penthe after being found guilty of aiding Klingon rebels and attacking a Klingon vessel. (February 22, 2003 - TrekToday)

  • J.G. Hertzler: "The character I played on Enterprise is fabulous, a really fabulous character. I adore Martok and the character that I'm doing on Enterprise - all, it's me doing him - is not entirely devoid of Martok-isms. He's very different from Martok, he's a lawyer as opposed to Martok being a warrior, but he's driven by the same kind of soul. What he believes is right and wrong. It's a wonderful character." (February 26, 2003 - TrekToday)
