Synopsis: "An arctic research team on Earth discovers debris from an alien vessel, nearly a century old, buried in a glacier along with the bodies of two cybernetically enhanced humanoids. Once those beings are thawed for investigation, they come to life and abduct the scientists and their transport vessel. Enterprise is called to intercept, but Captain Archer and his crew find these cyborgs to be an intractable, insidious enemy."

Notes

A team of Starfleet researchers uncovers the remains of a Borg Sphere underneath the Arctic Circle. Amongst the debris they find two Borg drones, one of which regenerates and begins assimilating members of their team. (February 20, 2003 - TrekToday)
"Regeneration's" seven-day shoot ran from Thursday, February 27, to Friday, March 7, although second-unit photography was still taking place on Monday, March 10. (March 12, 2003 - TrekToday)
Bonita Friedericy is the wife of Doctor Phlox actor John Billingsley.
Enterprise consulting producer David A. Goodman told visitors to the Trek BBS that they don't need to worry about the Borg's introduction into the show. "Everything you're worried about, regarding the Borg and Enterprise, will not happen," he wrote. "This episode doesn't violate continuity. In fact... it serves it." (March 18, 2003 - TrekToday)
