Notes

  • Archer and company reportedly discover North Star, a Wild West-style town in the Delphic Expanse. (September 11, 2003 - TrekToday)

  • David A. Goodman: "My favorites of those TOS ones were 'A Piece of the Action' and 'Patterns of Force', since they didn't rely on [the] impossible to explain things like 'Hodgkins Law of Parallel Planet Development'. It was really inspired by those episodes, and since it's a Western setting, I paid homage to 'Spectre of the Gun' by naming one of the aliens Cronin." (September 12, 2003 - TrekToday)

  • Scott Bakula: "We discover a civilization that's scattered around this planet, where the humans were abducted from Earth 300 years ago. That's of course 300 years from 2153. So they were a wagon train, their technology has not evolved at all. So we end up in the Old West, complete with hangings, and six guns, and what makes the episode interesting is the relationships between the humans on the planet and the Skagarans, the race who originally abducted the humans." (October 03, 2003 - TrekToday)

  • The Western scenes for this episode were shot on location at the Universal Studios backlot. (October 04, 2003 - TrekToday)
