Synopsis: "As they continue their deep space exploration, the NX-01 crew comes across an alien ship where they discover 15 humanoid corpses that seem to have been part of a scientific experiment. The horrific sight inspires Sato to panic and demand a return to Earth, but Archer insists on continuing the mission and finding out more about the abandoned dead. Trouble comes calling when the aliens that were conducting the gruesome experiments return and begin attacking Captain Archer and his team."Original Airdate: October 03, 2001

- Linda Park: "She decides actually that she is not cut out for space. She considers telling the captain that she wants to go back to the University. There's a lot that happens during that episode. It's a really nice turning point early on in the series where she can finally accept space. She has to swallow her fear and force herself to grow. The director was amazing, Alan Kroeker. - John Billingsley: "There's a marooned alien spacecraft that doesn't answer our hails, and we board it to find the crew has been murdered. We don't know by whom, how or why. And of course with me having all this makeup, pulling the helmet on and off was no easy process. I pulled my prosthetic ears right off with it! So they've had to figure out the shots in a way that don't require me to be in and out of the helmet. They didn't realize when they designed the makeup how much that particular episode would revolve around the needs of the mission." (September 21, 2001 - TrekToday)
